I created this directory because all of the Internet TV directories I've seen STINK - wasting time by abandoning you on foreign pages with no video content, hijacking your browser window, hiding link URLs, storing outdated sites, catering to only one video format, and so forth. When I want to take a look at foreign TV, I certainly don't need this, and neither do you! So I hope you enjoy this list. Tune in and see what's out there!

My criteria for putting a site here is that it is a simulcast (no recorded or "cleaned up" media) and that it serves a large on-air or cable audience in its home country (no netcasts). I have linked directly to the video feed of each station. I have also annotated what I've seen when I viewed the feed, so there may be other programming I haven't noted. When you see [H] clicking there will take you to the regular web site belonging to the station. The (SS) symbol means RealAudio SureStream, which I like quite a bit because it automatically adjusts the media to fit the bandwidth. Q=Quicktime, R=RealVideo, W=Windows Media, S=Slow (modem), F=Fast (DSL).

Interestingly I have found NO regular TV stations in Australia or Japan (not counting specialized or cable stations). Isn't that odd? I haven't included U.S. stations yet but will soon.
