Any progress on this? Getting this error every couple of hours after starting and leaving 1 script running, it pulls madis data, and plots, every 20 minutes... Yes, deleting data files prior to retrive. Any thoughts on a fix, destroying my ability to generate timely automated charts.

Not sure I would have caught that one...

Can get the data downloads (well madis is giving me problems) and then the plotting to work, but cant get the maps to export. Whats wierd is export command works in command line, but not when imbedded with script. Stamp does not work either.

Here is one example script, any help on the exports ...

Automatic downloading of data, please!!! Need my maps to self generate, and without autodownloading of data, cant do that.

REALLY NEED THIS TO FUNCTION.

1st, data still will not erase from previously generated maps from earlier DAWS, forcing a reload of the map to clear data.

2nd, new maps generated with this release will not save overlays, counties, highways, etc, despite SAVING the map. The base map which is loaded should not have its overlays ...

Close... but which file??? I see bufr and tiles subdirectories as well as gz files, tm files, and a few imssnow files that seem to be .grb files. The specific file or files is what I cant figure out.

Anyone have a source for US Grib data, particularly ETA and RUC data, for Windows based computer.

I can find the NCEP website with all sorts of files, but what EXACT url is needed for use with DAWS. DO I download a particular GFS file, or particular directory?
