The dropdown box is great Tim. One problem though......

When I try to use Sydney (94767) I get a message saying "Digital Atmosphere encountered an error: Range check error"

All other soundings I tried worked fine, even small country towns in Australia. Just Sydney that gives this error.

Any ideas ...

Yeah, I just tried Melbourne too and it worked.... The Sydney one (94767) doesn't though. Is this due to Sydney not having this facility ? I'd have thought not considering I am able to get a sounding for Sydney on the Bureau of Meterology website and considering it is a rather major Aussie city ...

Soundings problem

Hi,

Just wondering if there is any particular issue with soundings ? No matter what WMO I enter (tried different ones all over the world) I keep getting a "No SKEW-T data found" message. They are all valid WMO numbers that I'm using and I've made sure that the upper-level data has been downloaded ...

Appreciate the work you put into this mate

Thanks

Thanks for your reply. I may have a look into that. Would be much nicer to have them in a menu somewhere though. Hopefully that will get implemented again in later versions

Analysis options for maps

Hi,

I've recently upgraded to Workstation from 2000 and have noticed that there isn't an analysis option for Precipitation forecasts (6hr, 18hr etc...) for plotting on the maps nor is there a Pressure Tendency option. Perhaps I'm missing something but I cannot seem to find them anywhere.

Is ...
