Hi Nigel,

I found it very stable. In fact, I ran it for 1.5 years, scheduled 4 times a day, without any (!) problem or disruption. I created a cronjob where the whole bunch (starting DAWS and after that, DAWS-scripts) was exectued at 01, 07, 13 and 19 hours GMT. It retrieved data from several ...

Hi Nigel,

I am also very interested in a Linux-version. However, I run DAWS without any problem in Linux (OpenSuse, Fedora Core) using Wine. Give it a try.

Well, I agree there is limited support. But that limit is because there are only a very few huge players in this weather-world that accumulate and dessiminate "hobby"-data. Like wunderground indeed.

But, I am interested in your idea. It would benefit the DAWS-world when a lot more data comes ...

Hi group,

it's been a long time I've been here on this forum, and after browsing several topic I'm not quite sure about the answer to the question "Will there be a Linux-version of DAWS?"

In 2003 (or so) I pre-ordered a Linux-version, and if I am not mistaken, building the Linux-version would take ...

How does the GRADIENTCOLOR-script works

In the manual, I see

GRADIENTCOLOR,red|green|blue,ph1|ph2|scale|offset,value

How should I use this? can someone give me an working example?

As the manual suggest, I did look in the preferences -> Misc, but it is unclear to me how to translate those figures to the GRADIENTCOLOR-script.

Thanks ...

Public location to share scripts?

Hi all,

I was thinking: wouldnt it be a great idea to create a place on this forum to share our DA(WS)-scripts with each other? Kind of helping each other with writing scripts, and share best practices?

Scripts sharing could be done by giving a short explanation what the scripts does, followed by ...
