I fully support the notion to create a dedicated section in the forum for posting scripts only. This will eliminate the frustrating trial and error exercise I believe everybody is experiencing.
Since DAWS offers the option of utilizing the powerful script feature, then why not taking full advantage ...

Thanks Pat, your sample script is really great. I never thought of archiving in this manner. BTW I have run your script and DAWS apparently did not find any inconsistencies with meta and buoy data or otherwise did not behave differently.

Another mystery solved

By playing around with my fronts script, I finally discovered what went wrong.

Wrt fronts I have tried the following script:

download, http://www.hamweather.net/weather/asus01/asus01.txt,c:\DigAtm\frt.dat
ingest,c:\DigAtm\frt.dat
PRODUCT,WXP,0,FRT

Now something funny did occur when running the script:

Problem partly solved

My very thanks to Weasel and Texsky for their invaluable help and suggestion. I got my script running perfectly with all the xtras included by myself.
