Re: Adding a new station to the Station file

You are welcome Dave. I have to do the same with East Malling in SE England, as there is a drought of synop stations SE of Kenley, especially after the infamous Gravesend 03784 closed in 2018. East Malling is a climate station, data available on Ogimet, with wind/temp/pressure, and I use the same ...

Re: Adding a new station to the Station file

Dave,
With the current version V3.50, I cannot get it to import a MLID station table in any case. The only way you can get Almondsbury to plot is a manual entry in a data file, and pretend it's a ship. You will need to go into Ogimet and get the synop, as this station is not available on the GTS ...

Re: Upload

Tim withdrew the upload facility a few years ago. You will need a 3rd party prog to do the job. I use Win SCP.

Re: COD weather pages needing a password

I see the data is available again this morning from COD (just as Northern Illinois went down!) without a password.

In fact the update is:

Update (10/1/2024 08:38:14): We have appealed the decision made by our IT department to lock open directories under specific permissible conditions ...

Re: Latest version--ups or downs?

I am still using V 3.20 as that was the last version that I can import a MLID file. Quite important for me as I have adapted the MLID to serve my own purposes, and added a few stations that are not in the database. I looked at V.3.5 and thought that there was no added value for me, and in fact the ...
