Error with radar downloads

Whn I try to download radar imagery, sometimes I get an error message that says "Input file not compressed so it was copied to output." What is this error and how can I fix it?

Help with stability parameters

I need help on the abbreviations for the stability parameters on the Skew-T Plots. I need to know MLI, SSI, KO, SWEAT, BRN, BR SHR, S-IDX, FOG SI, 0-6 KM, SRH, EHI, and LCL. If you know how to interpret these, I would like to find that out to.
