So how do you save the .dmf file. I can save the .bmp file to the DAWS program files folder, but the .dmf file is another thing.
Also, where does the satellite images come from? Where would I get those to import?

I don't know what others have tried, but I got them to display by setting the United States map for "Satellite" in DAWS generate map function. Then I set image size for 1200x896 pixels. I let it draw a map, then used import map command to import the saved satellite image from My Pictures ...
