Change the font of the "line" (i.e. contour) label
Just wondering if anyone knows how to change the font and size of the "line" label for contours? I have a script that draws the 32F isotherm, but the label for the isotherm is difficult to read and I want to make the font biger. I've gone through "preferences < styles" but cannot change the default ...

Unable to download from anonymous ftp site
Hi,
I am familiar with scripts and using the "download" command. However, I've run into a problem. I cannot use the "download" command to download from an ftp site, only an http site. I think I need to let the ftp site know a username / password to let me in. Can anyone help?

Text color for plotting isotherms
Hi,
I am using a script to plot isotherms, but only specific temperatures (like 70F). It works fine, but I cannot figure out how to change the text color along the isotherm (I can change the font size in preferences < styles < general isopleths. But.... the color of the text is always blue (see ...

Upgrade / surface plot model and scripts no longer work
Is anyone else having this problem? I upgraded a few days ago and cannot load the .sps files under "load plot model" under "file / preferences / station plots". I cannot save new .sps files and load those either. I just get something that says "false".

How do you purchase Equinox??????
I am extremely confused. I used DA for a long time, then used the trial of Equinox. My trial has ended and it seems there is no place to purhcase it. The "ordering" button does not work in Equinox, and the website doesn't even discuss how to buy it.
Am I missing something completely obvious ...

Data Sources For Ingesting
Does anyone know of any websites that have METAR / SYNOP reports that can be ingested into Digital Atmosphere (besides the ones that are programmed into DA)?
Not sure if they exist, or need to be purchased through a NOAAport or something along those lines.
Thanks...

Thanks for your response....
However, I don't think the problem is the lack of worldwide precipitation observations. I have found various websites that do plot this data, specifically for Brazil. Here is a link to an example, this is updated every morning through some type of auto plot: http://www ...

Plotting 24-hour precipitation
I often use digital atmosphere to plot precipitaiton during the previous 24 hours. This is very easy to do for the U.S.
However, I often try to do this for Argentina and Brazil in South America. I download the 1200 UTC observations to do so.
