Re: Anyone successfully filter a report/parameter?
I find that it doesn't take to long to quality control those stations by drawing a box around the offending stations, putting -9999 in the pressure field, keeping the other data. Be careful...the offending stations often have duplicate reports...I fix the 1st one I encounter, and delete the ...

Re: Anyone successfully filter a report/parameter?
KXWA,KSDY,KEKY,KRYY also have bad MLSP's. KPTV needs to be relocated to it's California location. CWSI needs to be moved from it's near Ottawa location to it's location northeast of Quebec City. In the mean time, using quality control, and going to those stations and putting -9999 into the SLP cell ...

Re: Updated station file for DAWS
Hi Wally,
Just realized why I was getting oddities on MSLP contours around Michigan. The data base lists KGNA as Grand Marais as a Michigan station. It should be Minnesota, and 47.75N -90.35(W), 185M.

Re: Updated station file for DAWS
Wally...
I forgot...another station.
PAJC (Chignik Bay, AK) is in your data base with 66.32N 168.37W. It should be 56.32N 158.37W

Re: Updated station file for DAWS
Hi Wally...
Just a heads up...KPTV in Portersville, CA also shows in the data base as a Virginia station, KEHR in Kentucky is also shown as the call for a Wyoming station.
I deleted those ID's for the incorrect spots in my copy of your identifiers.
Happy New Year, and thanks for all your work ...

Re: Updated station file for DAWS
Hi Wally,
Just downloaded the Dec 4th update.
Can you check KRAS? KRAS is Port Aransas,TX, and is listed correctly in the data base. Unfortunately, there appears to be a Texas Tech mesonet station that the database has the same call for, and Port Aransas ends up getting plotted in the Texas ...

Re: Updated station file for DAWS
Hi Wally,
When I go to where you last posted the addresses of the files, the .csv file has the old KT77 id for Presidio instead of KPRS. I didn't check the other new stations. Am I doing something wrong, or did the new id's not get in the .csv file?

Re: Updated station file for DAWS
Thanks for the link...when I clicked on it, I got a table of all of the stations that were available at the current time, their lat/long data, but no observations to go with these sites. Do you know how to obtain the observations from these stations, and how to have DA recognize the obs and stations ...
