Error #10061

Post by svrwx »

I recently installed WS Pro on my computer and I got this error when I was trying to retrieve internet data. I made sure I had a good connection and that no firewalls were blocking the program. Any suggestion?

That means that there was no server active on the other end listening for connections, or it is overloaded with connections. It would be important to know which Internet resource you were trying to use. Check the URL in a browser (replacing time tokens with actual time values as necessary), or check to make sure Double-check the URL that you are using in that retrieval command. Or try another similar resource with the same data.
