Don`t know whether this is so much a problem/bug, but was hoping someone maybe able to offere suggestions.
I`m currently using the excellent colour fill script by Teksy, however I`ve noticed that exporting the charts in gif format makes the charts look poor. The only way I can get the charts to look like they do when they have just been plotted is to export in bitmap. This has the problem obviously with size, especially if I`m ftp`ing them.
Did I make sense there? I did mention this in the colour fill script thread in the scripts forum.
Exporting chart problem
I've located a utility that will convert graphic file formats via a timer system at http://www.batchimage.com/. It's called "Autobatchit" and it seems to do what you're looking for... ie, change *.bmp to *.png or something similar. Unfortunately, it also costs $50 U.S. There may be cheaper alternatives available, but I'm not particulary informed about this sort of thing. You may want to post some queries in a few of the graphics newsgroups and see what turns up.

I think this is part of the conversion to GIF palette factor that I've already mentioned to Tim. Somehow, the colors don't "translate" exactly when exporting a chart to GIF. Yes, .bmp is exact in color output, but I can't use them on the net w/o conversion. Hopefully, Tim will improve this in a subsequent version.
