I'm very impressed by radar DAWS results.
Does somebody know if stations/archives are available for Europe?

Nicola,
Raw radar data is not available for Europe. Each country has it's own policy, but if published then only as images. UK offers images for each 1/2 hour without delay. Belgium almost nothing, France only on synoptic main hours, Danmark each two hours, Germany each 1/4 hr without delay and Netherlands each 1/4 hour with a delay of at least 1 or 2 hours. An European composite is not available at all.
The main problem for European radar are the commercial weather offices. European citizens are paying tax for the national weather services and their products, including all the data. But the commercial weather offices are making money from the radardata. Strange but you have to pay twice if you wish to use the radar: by tax (and get nothing for it) and to the commercial offices if you wish to see those images. There is no access to raw data at all. Even educational licenses are not available.
I tried to make a composite for the North Sea region and they are available on my homepage. GeoSatSignal overlay images for several countries in the North Sea region are also available on my site. Use Autoget to download the data.
I can try to create a such overlay maps any other European country, but need sources for images. Mail me at postbus@meteo-maarssen.nl if you know such sources for your country (I need also at least 24 hr archives if available).
Cheers,
