Color Fill annoyance!

Post by Weasel »

For some reason the max value shaded using color fills usually doesn't fill completely. Most of the time you end up with a jagged white area only partially filled with the color that corresponds to that value.

For an example, see the bottom right of this RH chart:

Odd thing of it is, this doesn't happen with every map...I'd say at least 90% of the time, so it is a little annoying.

This was an issue with DA WS as well.

Same here! (we`re on a roll Pat),

I noticed this on my humidex gradient scripts. Once it contoured down toward the southern US where the highest values would be it seems to die, making the basemap colour visible (ie white). Yes, it`s same on both DAWS and Fusion versions

"we're on a roll" I guess we are, Bob.

The way it plots on mine...the white/max area is plotted first and then the colour fills start to appear but never quite make it far enough to cover up the white crap from the beginning.

Of course one solution to this problem is to actually include a gradient fill like was available before DA WS. That also would eliminate having to write different scripts for different times of the year
