Wally Mayo's report has been fixed for the next release; it is a problem in Load Workchart where the background (swap) image was not updated with the new contents.
As far as the crash problem, I agree this could be a Win98 problem. It sounds like something I used to see way back in Win95, usually from poor handling of extreme X & Y map coordinates in the older graphics (and even video card) libraries, which would theoretically render the maps more prone to errors on tight zooms and less prone on large global views. I will try to add some tighter error checking.
