Ha ... no, I'm not sorry. :P It usually gives good and easy access to front data. I was just indicating that the second graphic example (at least) was a mainly a bad data from the site problem and NOT DAWS.
For error numbers, that could be something else, maybe software - don't know.

Sounds like this front problem is a carryover from DA2000.

Yes the DA 2000 had front problems. Does anyone remember how to change DA2000 to plot the new ASUS?
DAWS worked for awhile plotting fronts and then this "range check error" started after they plot correctly but before the legend goes on.
Of course these error prohibit using the scheduler.

For the older DA, someone setup:
http://www.eas.purdue.edu/~bcotton/wx/d ... ont.latest
to have the header as the older ASUS1 so it would work.
I don't know if it still is available.
I wish I could duplicate the range check error. Perhaps I'll try other sources and time frames.

Wally
Your Purdue URL is working fine and there are no range check errors.
In DAWS the range check error appears after the fronts are plotted and before the legend, and of course this stops the script from continuing.

Watch the dates on the Purdue site as it is erratic. Ben said something about changing servers in the future.

P.S. I have learned to live with the problem with fronts in DA2000 by going to the Albany site, and copying the txt file then pasting into Queue.frt folder in the DA2000 program files. Script files did not work either.Sounds like a problem that will be a bug in DAWS as well.

Thanks, Jon...I'd like to shift to full use of DAWS but too many bugs are still around.
