Later this week a new beta release with updated trial (extended to
60 days) will be posted.

Some of the changes include:

1. ADDED INCOMING DATA AUTOCOPY CAPABILITY. This is enabled in
Preferences > Misc 2. If the Copy Imported Data To Local File is
enabled, then anytime an Import occurs, the data contained in DATA.USR
is written out to the local file specified. This filename must be fully
qualified (e.g. c:\mydirectory\file.txt ).

1. ADDED CHART TITLE CAPABILITY. Font and position are set in File >
Preferences. A chart title can be manually set in Maps > Annotations >
Title.

2. ADDED INTERNATIONAL SUPPORT FOR HIGHS & LOWS. Font,
color/monochrome, and character symbols are set in File > Preferences.

3. ADDED ABILITY TO REMOVE DETAILED PRODUCT LEGEND. This is controlled
in the Maps > Annotations > Title panel.

4. ADDED CHART CREDITS CAPABILITY. Font, position, and default credit
are set in File > Preferences.

5. ADDED CHART LOGO CAPABILITY. Source filename and position are set in
File > Preferences > Annotations. Acceptable formats are GIF and
JPG/JPEG. Logo is added on every meteorological chart that is
generated, unless disabled in File > Preferences > Annotations.

6. ADDED WEATHER ELEMENTS LANGUAGE CONVERSION TABLE. This is
located in language.txt in the Digital Atmosphere directory. The data
located in column 48 of the *ELEMENTS table may be edited.
The file allows foreign languages to be used for chart titles, and
may later be extended to be used for menus and buttons.
Currently Unicode (Cyrillic, Kanji, etc) is not supported.

Also I am about to add in support for tephigrams in addition to SKEW-Ts
and will get the cross sections working soon.

Last build was July 4th..... It has been over 2 months since the last update! I really hope something comes soon. Too bad it will not include GRIB scrippting. I was wishing for that for over 1.5 years... still nothing :(

I got an email from Tim about two weeks ago saying another release was coming in a couple of days!!!

Mine expired a few weeks ago, so I`ve gone back to using original DAWS. If it wasn`t for the memory leak bug in DAWS I think I would be happy sticking with that version.

Last I heard Tim was busy writing some book, so I guess we`ll just have to keeping waiting :?
