SFC Wind Shader

Since we should start seeing some rather windy mid latitude cyclones before too much longer I thought I'd do a simple wind speed shader. It uses a "normal" gradient shader starting at calm (feel free to change the colours above 50 - or any of the others

Incidentally, if you like this gradient fill you can adapt it to most any other analysis types. For example, it looks rather good with degf temps a 2 degree intervals - maybe make one for winter and summer
Using the above script modified for temps from 30-80 degrees at 1 degree intervals produced the following result:

The map only goes from 30-70 degrees so the full range of the gradient isn't included - it's just to give an idea what it looks like. If you are curious, the isotherms/fill are from 18Z on 3 April, 1974
