It would be good for the program if it was exepting pgn, tiff and other image standaards. This because lots off possibility's would be availible then.
Hope you can build it into a next version or update.

Where would these be most useful? In Map > Export? Or for importing?

I think for export and import.
I wanted to put my logo on the map but with overlay I can't have transparency so I needed to use seperate image software for it.
Also I think it's good for reduce the files when exporting and keep good color.
