Tim & Phil,
I have just tried this and I also have a problem viewing Raw Data. I get a Error Message "Digital Atmosphere encountered an error:Text exceeds memo capacity".
I am running DAWS V1.0i, Windows 98, 511mb Ram
I have also tried by only downloading METAR data 500K and I still get the same message.

Hmmm, never had it happen here.
Windows XP, 1.2Gig RAM, Pent 4 2.6MHz ver. 1.0i
Max files processed here was about 900K - 1.1 MB (METARs), though now that I think about it, some of the upper air files were a bit larger.

OK, I've swapped the text memo component out for another one. I believe we had a different set of bug reports for it too, but I've tried streamlining it a bit and we'll see what happens.

I have just tried it again with this mornings data, and indeed it works - so maybe it was a corrupt data file.
I should confirm that I am using V1.0i P4 2.40GHz 1Gb RAM

We're up to V1.0j -- it will probably behave differently now.
