Weather Forecasting Handbook......

Ok,

I don't want to complain but here is the problem. I ordered The Weather Forecasting Handbook on February 17, 2004 so that I can get it on my birthday, February 23,2004, on Amazon.ca. However, I always get emails that the order is being delayed. Now it's June 26, 2004 and I still didn't got it. In fact, it wasn't even shipped yet.

What's wrong?

This wouldn't be the right place to ask as there's nobody from Amazon here. We do supply copies of the book to Amazon but from there it's a black hole... what they do with the copies is up to them.

If you cancel your order and order direct from us you'll have a copy in about 4 days. It also saves us paying Amazon a non-negotiable 55% cut.. (ugh)

I cancelled the order from Amazon and bought the book from the original webpage.

You don't know how frustrating this situation was.

But I hope it's going to arrive faster now.
