Europe synops on COD and NIU

Does anyone have any idea why for the last week or so there has been virtually no european synops on both COD and NIU synop files,

They are back this morning Alan. Although I cannot answer your question. One of the longest outages. They were available on Ogimet , but even there there was a day or two with some truncated data.....left to the METARs and the ship reports which usually stay on the COD & NIU servers!

Yes thanks for that Phil just noticed they are back online
Never know such a long outage though and did use Ogimet as a replacement but as you say it did miss some synops at times....

One of you all might want to look into whether they're transitioning any of that to BUFR, as with what happened with some of the upper air data.

I will be providing a solution for this soon.
