BUFR status - Europe etc

I recently did a search of open directories carrying BUFR data and found that Iowa State now appears to have it. Even if this goes offline, this tells me that the data is likely on NOAAPORT and justifies the possibility of me setting up a NOAAPORT receiver here to distribute data to Digital Atmosphere users. The hourly surface files and upper air files are 20 MB each.

I am still evaluating whether it is more realistic for us to provide some sort of BUFR processor to feed Digital Atmosphere or process the data on our server for distribution.

Here is what was in the files at 18Z today: https://pastebin.com/gaBwV6Zz You will see a dump of two files, one is IS_2025091818.bufr (Surface Data), which has 471 unique lat/long points (LAT,LONG format) that appear to be mostly in Europe, and the other is IU_2025091818.bufr (Upper Air Data) which has 509 upper air stations, most of which are AMDAR leaving 30 land stations. You are invited to look up the lat/long for your stations of interest and see if they are in there.

Also attached is a KML file of this data that can be viewed in Google Earth.

Let me know if you think there is still missing data beyond this, or if it seems to represent everything that is missing.
