IMPORT MAP in scripting

Is there any way we can have a similar function to the IMPORT MAP in the map menu of DAWS available for use in scripting? Its a useful function to import a gif file that has transparency and overlays the plotted map.

OK, it's been added as IMPORT. However in V1.1a this will conflict with the data import command, so watch for V1.1b which will assign the data import command to INGEST.
