To edit or view the station list, open the file digatmos.stn in your Digital Atmosphere directory. You may make changes as long as you save the file as a raw textfile (do not use word processors unless you know what you are doing). Personally I find MS-DOS edit to be easiest (go to Accessories > Command Prompt, use cd <directoryname> and edit digatmos.stn.
The order is not important.
After editing, always use File > Recompile Tables in Digital Atmosphere to enable the changes. This will build an internal index, which will take about 1 to 3 minutes.
The limit on the number of stations in Digital Atmosphere Workstation V1.1f is 20,000. The latest version of Digital Atmosphere had 17,400 stations.
STATIONS: How can I edit the weather stations or view them?
