I just downloaded DAWS 1.l. I generate a map and then save it. The next time I open DAWS, I get all sorts of error messages about not being able to find temp.dmf. When I attempt to load the base map workchart, I get an error message that states "no available workchart". What have I managed to do wrong already? Thanks!

If you've closed the workchart, as you apparently have, you'll need to generate a new basemap to get going again. Go to Map -> Generate base map...fill out your desired parameters and start anew.

It's a good idea to not close this map once you've got it created because the "new workchart" feature is inoperable for the time being.
