I have not been able to get the BKG* (* = color) to work. On page 128 of the Users Guide it states that one can use this command to set the background color for the plot on the screen.


I've tried the following:

loop
bkg7
bknt clr4
endl

No luck.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I'm glad you brought this up because it pointed out a section of the documentation I missed. The BGK* command is obsolete from PCGRIDDS and does not work with PCGRIDDS32. The way to change the map oriented colors is to edit the PALLETTE.DAT file in the USER directory. The PALLETTE.DAT file 'should' be fairly self documented but I will be updating the online documentation to reflect it's proper use.
