Comments and historyEngels is a major bomber operations base, and is Russia's sole operating location for the Tu-160. Contains very large tarmac and about 10 large revetments. Was to have received first Tu-160 in 1987 but it went to Priluki, which had Tu-22M experience. Only 7 operational Tu-160s in 2001. Home to 22 GV TBAD.
