Comments and historyInterceptor airfield which became operational in 1957. The 265 IAP flew Su-15 and Su-27 aircraft as late as the 1990s. Pilots Slabodchikov, Yu. Novozhilov, A. Genberg, and Kerefov in aircraft from this base forced a Korean Airlines 707 down in 1978. The airfield appears to be in a serious condition of decay and is likely not operational.
