Comments and history | In 1965, Zerbst had MiG-17, MiG-19, MiG-21, Yak-12, and MiG-15UTI aircraft, and possibly Su-9 or Su-11 aircraft. The regiment was operating only the MiG-21 in the 1970s. In the early 1990s it was operated by the 35 IAP flying MiG-29, MiG-23UM, and An-2. Refugees were housed here in the early 1990s. The airfield was used by NATO in 2002. |
