DAWS v1.1c bugs

Post by texsky »

Tim,

1. The GRIB module only works when using Nearest Neighbor, not Weighted, Barnes, or Cressman.
2. Vorticity fields don't get drawn properly when using GRIB, at least, not when using this source for data...ftp://ftpprd.ncep.noaa.gov/pub/data/ncc ... 21124.tm00
3. Nexrad Storm Tracking Info. yields a "Read beyond end-of-file" error message.
4. Lat/Lon. labels don't plot.

Also, how do DAWS Pro users get program updates since on the download page, the patches that you post are not recommended for the Pro version?

Thanks,
Bob

I've been forced to cease working on upgrades (temporarily) as I have to get the final build finished and mailed out to everyone. These bugs will have to await V1.1d or V1.2.

Patches for Professional users will be accommodated via E-mail request. However V1.1c Pro is going out tomorrow on CD to *all* Workstation Professional users who registered.

Thanks,

Tim

Great, I look forward to receiving it. Shouldn't take but a day or two I would guess.

DAWS, in my opinion, has really matured into something quite outstanding. Pro registration is my way of saying "Thanks".
