It would be nice for DAW to plot both the detailed and supplementary vortex data messages for Atlantic tropicals when available. Would help a lot in pinpointing tropical positions.
Only problem I can see with having this is that the times of these messages do not conform to any partiular hour. Nonetheless the detailed messages do contain a wealth of wind and pressure info.

Plot RECCO
Yes I agree. For us in the tropics it would be nice if every surface RECCO report for the given day would plot as it becomes available and then remain in all analyses for that day. Even though the time may be different than standared data it is much better than no data at all. I was hoping some thought would be given to this.
I suggested this to Tim last year and I hoped it would be included in DAWS. The data is plotted at NHC and last year it was plotted on the "Hurricane Alley" site. It would require a new decoder, but it sure would add a lot the the oceanic analysis.
