I am thinking of trialing DAWS with a view to buying the product. I want to install it on a second PC at home, which has smaller specs than my main one.
This second PC will be running DAWS and nothing else (apart from AV software and the OS). I hope to eventually start running analysis charts, and ftping them every 6 hours at first. My question is can this smaller PC handle this work, such as downloading, ingesting, plotting and ftping charts?
I would use my main PC, but I already use that quite heavily for other projects and would prefer not to have DAWS running in the background.
Anyways, the PC specs are as follows
OS: Windoze 98 or ME
CPU: Pentium 200
Memory: 64MB
HDD: 4GB
I would rather not have to upgrade the cpu, but can upgrade the ram and hdd if needed. I don`t have the money to build another big fancy computer!!

Yes that Should work!
What kind of system requirements are there?
All you need is a 486 or Pentium, with Windows 95 or NT with 4 MB of RAM and 25 MB of disk space. That's it! Digital Atmosphere is also cleanly written and unlike a lot of software does not populate your system with dozens of nasty drivers and DLL's.
