Values of Isopleths
Is there a way to plot them other then around the SIDES? I have values that arent on the sides and you have no idea what value that is! Any help here please!
Reduce, and or increase the value, dependent of course on the surrounding values..this is rather easy to do, but may not make for a good looking map for a web page:)
I seem to remember some didn't want the clutter of isopleth labels in earlier versions of Digital Atmosphere round low/high centers...they only wanted them round the edges...ugh..glad I don't write the software:)
If you are doing maps for a web site, you can always save the map, load it into a graphics package and add text/numbers that match the pleth. This may seem cumbersome, but it does eliminate clutter for some other users...only a suggestion...I'm more than content that DA WS does a nice work of placing the contours without me having to draw them in (a task I couldn't do in data sparse areas).
You may wish to add this to the DA WS work/suggestions section that Tim started; no doubt he'll take a look at it for future versions!
