Maybe nobody has noticed yet, but the US Navy based "Joint Typhoon Warning Centre (JTWC)" does not allow the public anymore to access their website.
Therefore typhoon (hurricane) tracking in the NW Pacific is completely dead and the internet sites listed in DAWS show a connecting error when activated.
I wonder, whether anybody has come across any other sites, which would allow hurricane tracking in the NW Pacific?
Help regarding this matter is very much appreciated, since hurricane tracking was the main reason for me to use DAWS.
Hurrican Tracking unavailable in NW Pacific

Bulletins appear to be flowing just fine:
Typhoon Banyan
http://weather.noaa.gov/pub/data/raw/wt ... .pgtw..txt
However I notice that JTWC stopped coding their positions like
24.5S1 46.8E8
and are going with
24.5S 46.8E
I assume this change is permanent... I have recoded Digital Atmosphere to work with this new format and it will make it into the next post-V1.1j release.
