Randy,

I never meant to suggest you are stupid...sorry you got that impression.

What I was suggesting is the batch file, and the script both run without any type of error on my system. Thus the error doesn't exist on my computer:)

As far as trying to figure out what may be wrong, perhaps the wxforecaster can give you a hand with that. For me, I'm done with getting involved with this sort of thing through text messages...it's too hard to figure out what may be happening on one end and not the other, even when both people are doing the same thing:)

Sorry I couldn't be of more help, although I should say that the new RIDGE radar displays from the NWS look rather good, and perhaps eliminate the need for looping in DA WS. About the only advantage is plots and analyses can be included in Dig Atm, and the radar updates may be a minute or so faster. The ridge display will always "look" better, however, for radar alone. As far as different dish angles, mesocyclone detection etc...most visitors to a website don't care all that much about these, they only want to see where it is raining/snowing through a map that looks good...I was surprised velocity images were included w/Ridge to be honest:)

Good luck getting your loop up and running, Randy! Just a note you could study what Tim had to say in this thread and the uploading hurricane graphics thread--the hurricane thread is for the script that executes the bat file, while this thread is for the actual bat file.

Some links on the left may be of interest to some as well.

Pat:

No offense taken, I was just flustrated is all, but not at you.
Your DAWS loops look great, and I hope mine will too.

wxforecaster:

Unfortunately, I no longer use any of those programs because they always crashed my system. I wish there was an easier way too, but I am not aware of any. We can do this however you wish too.

I shall await further instruction!
