Need a hand with this. We working on a noaaport ingest/decode piece for windows that will place files for DA in directories.
I cant get the FILE -> Import a Directory to work.
I did manually load an SAO file and surface data plotted.
Where do you specify the raw data directory, or how do I get the
FILE -> Import a directory to work??

Ray,
The directory should be the "Data" folder immediately underneath your DAWS installation. Its location used to be specifiable in the Preferences menu but it looks like Tim took it out...so it may be of limited use right now.

Problem is, the ingestion program runs under CYGWIN. It doesnt seem
to want to write to the directory that DA is in.
I may try to install DA again specifying a dir in the workspace for CYGWIN unless someone knows how to specify this in DA.
