Displaying GRIB Files

I have tried to display GRIB files from a number of sources and can't get them to display in DA. I have read the User's Guide section on GRIB and when the files are decoded there are no errors (question marks). When I try to display a plot or contour from my imported GRIB file, the map displays the text associated with the specific paramter but the date/time is from the last time and day I downloaded "live" data, not the GRIB file time. Do I need to somehow delete the live data or is there another solution?

I haven`t used Digital Atmosphere to ingest grib for a few years now. It was too problematic even back then, only being able to use the very small grib datasets which contained a few parameters. Anything bigger than around 2mb would freeze the software and crash it. The old grid 211 datasets would ingest just fine in Digital Atmosphere.

I use Digital Atmosphere for surface and upper analysis, but for grib I stick with something like Gempak. Just my preference though
