I just installed DAWS 1.0b, and I can't get the convective outlooks to plot. Not only are the contours not displayed, but the workchart title reads "SFC SEA LEVEL PRESSURE (MB)". Has anyone else experienced this problem? Is it a bug that is resolved by one of the later patches?
I'm aware that several patches have been released for DAWS, but I have been unable to access any of them. This may be related to Tim's recent server problems. (Also, since the 1.0f patch seems to be causing everyone's software to expire, perhaps it's just as well that I can't access the patches.) When access is restored, will I have to install all of the patches, or only the most recent one?
Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Don

Don,
version "b" is SO far behind "f", I wouldn't really mess with it. If you want to get f, you may click here on my server:
http://www.weatherroanoke.com/da-std.exe
and for latest patch to make it 1.0f:
http://www.weatherroanoke.com/dapatch.exe
BTW Don, I think all versions (incl. "b") have built in expiration after a time period - so don't be afraid of "f" either.
This is the original set for current "f"- anyone who has "f" expired - this will do you NO good. You also will have to wait for next cue from Tim.
Stefan/Tim - if you want for me to NOT have this available like this, just let me know, and I will kill the link. I just put it here temporarily until it is accessible normally.

Thanks, Wally.
I have downloaded the patch, but at this point I'm hesitant about installing it. I have already registered my copy of DAWS, and, according to at least one post here, even registered copies are expiring after the 'f' patch is installed.
BTW, I only downloaded and installed one copy of DAWS (it turned out to be Version 1.0b), which I then registered. Perhaps the patch wouldn't affect me in this case.
