I created a custom mapping style file as detailed below.

Scheme name=Creswick Map Style one

DIGITAL ATMOSPHERE Color Tables Edition 2
- Manual correction of this table is done at your own risk.
- Numerical values MUST always be zero-filled or space padded!
- Do not adjust column positions; they are fixed.
- Do not delete horizontal bar that begins the data section
- "Parameter name" can be anything you like - this is ignored by program
- OTHR/MISC has the following meanings:
plf,plc/Station Plots = Default station crowding value (pixel radius, 0=no filtering)
- Font name: to manually override the font to Bold or Italic, add BOLD or ITALIC (capitalized)
in the font name

(the file is here:- http://homepages.ihug.com.au/~ventus45/ ... le-one.sty)

I then made a map which is here:-
http://homepages.ihug.com.au/~ventus45/ ... /Test1.bmp
http://homepages.ihug.com.au/~ventus45/ ... /Test1.dmf

So far so good.

I then zoomed out with the magnifying glass once, and the result was fine, but I then zoomed out once more (ie, second time), and the result was again OK, and agin on the third zoom, but on the fourth zoom, all the latitude and longitude lines go haywire, see here:-
http://homepages.ihug.com.au/~ventus45/ ... /Test2.bmp
http://homepages.ihug.com.au/~ventus45/ ... /Test2.dmf

Can you fix that Tim ?
