Negative values in maps

Post by Esor »

Hi Tim,

Please enclose the feature that Digital Workstation in the new release can show negative values for centigrade, I think that this will be highly appriciated by all of us who do not use Fahrenhart.

Kind regards,

AS far as I know this feature is already available. I just dowloaded synoptic data and did isopleths for degrees C negative values displayed properly where appropriate. If you are talking about station plots, go to file, preferences, station plots, make sure the radio button in the upper right is set for metric and degrees C will plot - and show negative values where appropriate.

Both created using DA WS version V1.1j3. The results were the same in Fusion version 0.6h. Again I used the synoptic data - specifically the 18Z file from COD.

I also tested the 20Z METAR data file from COD over Europe - nagative values plotted/plethed OK. Are you using the latest versions? If I remember correctly this was a problem at one time, but was fixed.. I could be wrong though.
