Tim,

I appended part of this to an earlier post but here it is anew and with greater specificity. Using V1.0D I import the following data file...[ftp://ftpprd.ncep.noaa.gov/pub/data/ncc ... 1124.tm00] and the following displays in the status area.

» Digital Atmosphere ready
» Checking for core resource table updates...
» Importing GRIB data...
» Creating GRIB vector fields...
» Building GRIB indexes
» Done

I then check the "contour" option and select a field to display at which point nothing happens. When using the "plot" option, it displays the January surface mean high temperatures all over the map.
