DAWS 1.1c Overidding active level

Post by Roy Leep »

I am trying to script a simple 500 mb chart. Script works fine when the "Active Level" is set to 500mb. I have a setup command h500 in the title position of the line but it does not seem to apply when the "Active Level" is set to surface. I want to keep the manual setting at "surface".

Following is what I have written:
analyze,hilo cont cint=10 line=2 color=80:80:140 hght h500

What is wrong with this configuration?

Thanks

Roy

Roy:

Using v1.1c I have the same problem. However If the active level is set to anything but the surface my scripts work. Scripts even work when active level is set to isentropic.

It appears that this is a bug.

Here is my script for 500mb ht.

500 mb height (m) |HILO cont cint=30 color=80:80:140 hght h500

The same as Steve describes is happening when you add the commands to the menu-file.
