HELP Command Question
HELP Command Question
All,
I need your help - There have been several users saying the HELP command is not working properly for them. When they type in, for example, 'HELP TPCP', PCGRIDDS32 should respond with this line just below the command line: 'TPCP > Total Precipitation fields, obtained without reseting LEVeL (cm)'. Their system returns a blank line.
If you are experiencing the same problem or have experienced and found a way for it to work, could you please reply on this message board. The HELP command works fine for me on all my systems (Win9*, Win2k & WinXP) and I can't fix what I can't see but it is a valid problem for them so any help from the user community would be appreciated.
If we can get this ironed out, I'll have a Christmas present for you so...
Thanks in advance & Season Greetings!!

HELP command
I had not tried the HELP command before, but it does NOT return any information. I am running WINXP.
OK - we have two WinXP's that don't work as they should and the origional problem was on Win2k machines. We need some more info.
When you post if it works or not, in addition to the OS version, I'll need to know if there are any Service Packs installed. My WinXP is still plain vanilla with no SP2 and my Win2k is at SP4 and, like I said, all my systems work. I really hope this is not a Service Pack issue (what can you do??).
Thanks again,
