Sort of :)
Fusion likes to freeze up when a mercator map from DA WS is loaded and one runs an analysis or plot, as mentioned to me by Chris Arnold. This is a fix:
Load basemap
Go directly to generate base map - CHANGE PROJECTION TO MERCATOR
Click Ok
Once the vector map has drawn, click map, import map
Import the bitmap that corresponds to the basemep loaded at beginning
Click map copy markings onto basemap
Click map save basemap - - you're all set
The same works for orthographic (just change mercator to orthographic in the above), but DA WS aspect and offset settings are not retained.
