Hi Tim,
Thank you for your reply.
Here's what's happening. When running DA on the normal, unsandboxed PC, clicking on step 1b allows me to select a downloaded GRIB file. I get the confirmation dialog box that the file was selected. Step 2, the dropdown does not populate with a list of parameters contained within the GRIB.

When operating inside the Windows sandbox, repeating the same process yields a list of parameters in the step 2 drowdown box.
For now, my workaround using the Sandbox does function. I have even written a script that will automatically create the sandbox, install DA, copy my DA scripts to the working sandbox and configure my internet security certificate for my firewall. It's an extra step, but it works.
I'm more than happy to assist in troubleshooting this for the benefit of the community. I am suspecting that it has something to do with the very slight difference between windows 11 pro and windows 11 workstation. Running inside the sandbox creates an instance of windows 11 enterprise. When I get some time, my next plan is to create either a Hyper-V or VMWare installatoin of Windows 11 Enterprise and try DA there. If it works, then it's definately something to do with the workstation version of Windows. If it doesn't I have no clue.
Cheers!
Ed
